Kylian Mbappe is reportedly considering signing a new deal with PSG that would almost double his wages and put him in the same pay bracket as Neymar.
Mbappe has been linked with a move to either Real Madrid or Liverpool - although the Reds are no longer expected to make any big signings this summer as they contend with the financial impact of the coronavirus crisis.
Madrid are understood to be ready to step up their pursuit of star French forward Mbappe, who has scored 90 in 120 appearances for Paris-Saint Germain since joining the French club from Monaco in 2017.
However, PSG are determined to keep hold of the 21-year-old and have offered him a deal that would put him in the same tier as £600,000-per-week teammate Neymar, according to L'Equipe.
Mbappe, who is contracted to PSG until 2022, scored 18 goals in 20 Ligue 1 matches this season as his side were crowned champions, with the campaign cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He has also fired five goals and posted five assists in the Champions League, as well as scoring another seven and adding five assists in domestic cup competitions.
