The 16-year-old defender will remain with Alianza Lima for the immediate future to continue his development.

When Kluiverth turns 18 on May 5, 2021, he’ll join Man City.

If true, that would be a record deal for Alianza Lima.

Alianza Lima also told their supporters:

Within its policy of signing players with great potential, Manchester City saw in Kluiverth Aguilar a talent capable of playing at the highest level.

Alianza Lima is proud that a footballer from its team can link his future to that of one of the most prestigious clubs in the world.

Kluiverth Aguilar joined Alianza Lima in 2019 after impressing at the U17 South American Championship.

The defender made his league debut on November 2 against Alianza Universidad.
