De Gea or Henderson?

David de Gea has dithered at times this season, while Dean Henderson has excelled out on loan... what are Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's options next season for Manchester United's No 1?

The Spain international has been shaky this season. On Sunday, his lackadaisical error resulted in Everton's opener in their 1-1 draw with United at Goodison Park.

Since the start of last season no goalkeeper has made more errors leading to a goal than De Gea with seven - the same as Jordan Pickford, Martin Dubravka and Bernd Leno. It's a worrying statistic for Solskjaer to ponder although he was defiant in his support for De Gea post-match on Sunday.

England Under 21 star Henderson, who may well be given an improved contract by United to ward off interest from clubs around Europe, has ambitions to be first choice at Old Trafford and is now seen as a genuine threat to De Gea.

The 22-year-old is likely to be sent out on loan for a third season, possibly at Sheffield United again, unless De Gea's situation changes.

Henderson's form is set to earn him an England debut too with Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate keen to do so before Euro 2020 - another indicator of his brilliant form.

So Ole, What's it gonna be?
