Gabriel Jesus to Go??

Pep Guardiola is open to selling Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus this summer but will leave a decision over the forward's future with the Brazillian.

The 22 yo signed with City in 2017 and the club has long considered the striker to be a readymade replacement for Sergio Aguero, who turns 32 in July.

However, Sergio's sensational form is not easily giving up and has been performing which limit Jesus progress in the Premier League this term.

The former Palmeiras forward turns 23 in April and though he’s not yet in his prime, he had expected to be a first team starter by now and is understandably concerned about his lack of progress at City.

Given the lack of top class forwards on the market, Jesus’ situation has attracted interest from Juventus and Metro.co.uk understands the Serie A giants dispatched a scout to watch the Brazilian during February’s 2-0 win against West Ham.

Guardiola remains an admirer of Jesus and believes he can take over from Aguero, potentially at the end of next season. But the Spaniard takes an unemotional approach to player departures and will treat Jesus in a similar fashion to the way in which Leroy Sane’s future has been handled by leaving the decision to the player.

Let's see what we will make of it until the season ends.
